With Eastern Illinois University’s yearly Greek Week just weeks away each house has been preparing its members. The week long celebration will take place April 6th to the 13th.
Long practices and excitement are just a few of the thing you can expect in anticipation of Greek Week. The events include greek sing, tugs, airband and pyramids. Each house is expected to participate.
During Greek Week houses are scored based on their performances in each event throughout the week. At the end of the week the house with the most points wins Greek Week. The prize is a much sought after trophy and bragging rights.
To the houses, Greek Week is more than just fun and games. Instead, it’s a chance to show what they are capable of. Many say it’s worth the sweat and the long hours because the feeling of winning it all is unlike anything else.
