Summer Drinks….Yum!

Summer is right around the corner and we all enjoy drinks to cool us off on those hot summer days. In this post I am going to give you my opinion on a few different drinks for summer.

The Honeydew Agua Fresca drink is something different I came across while looking up drinks and it seemed like it would be something interesting to drink.

Martha Stuart recipes says the Honeydew agua fresca is an easy-to-make nonalcoholic drink inspired by traditional Mexican fruit beverages.

The recipe calls for:

  • 14 cups honeydew melon or cantaloupe (from a 5-pound melon)
  • 1/3 cup superfine sugar
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (from 4 limes)
  • Ice
  • 2 cups raspberries

The Pomegranate Daiquiri looks delicious in the photo above and the ingredients make it sound even better. If you want to make a non alcoholic daiquiri just leave the light rum out of the recipe.

The recipe calls for:

  • 3 1/2 cup(s) pomegranate juice
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) plain or raspberry-flavored light rum
  • 1 cup(s) cassis or cranberry liqueur
  • 1/3 cup(s) fresh lime juice
  • Ice cubes
  • Pomegranate seeds, frozen green grapes, or kiwi slices, for garnish

Enjoy the drinks! 🙂
