Air Jordan IV “Fire Red” Review

This will be the first in a series of shoe reviews that are well overdue, but better late than never.

This is first review is of the Air Jordan IV “Fire Red.” I must say, I was not fond of how these sneakers looked on feet when I first bought them. However, I knew how iconic of a shoe these were, so I had to have them. (But what Air Jordan isn’t iconic?)

These were released on Aug. 4, 2012. I waited in line at Finish Line to cop them for $160 at 8 a.m.

After a few months, these shoes quickly jumped into my top five that I own — No. 3 to be specific.

Without further adieu, here are pictures of my own Air Jordan IV Fire Red’s:

I’ll start off by saying I love the paneled grids on the sides and the front of the shoes, along with the black plated wings attached to the red lace holes. The black and red mid-sole layer around the shoe has a perfect flow. Also, the black pull-tab on the back is a nice feature.

These are by far my most comfortable sneakers, but that also means I am most likely to wear them — also meaning they have the most wear on them.

Here is the review of one by my favorite YouTube reviewers: Nightwing2303

The design, colorway, comfort and history to this shoe has made it my third favorite in my collection. But we all it is personal preference when it comes to shoes. What do you think?
