Chance the Rapper, a Chicago-based hip hop artist, just released his second mixtape, titled “Acid Rap,” today. The mixtape is his first release since his 10 Day mixtape came out in 2011. 10 Day was recorded while Chance was on suspension from his high school Since the release of 10 Day, Chance has been touring almost all year, first in summer 2012 with Childish Gambino on his “Camp” tour, and this year with Chicago-based hip hop/rock band Kids These Days.
Chance’s new mixtape features performances from big-name rappers like Childish Gambino, Action Bronson, and hip hop legend Ab-Soul. Singles already announced for the album include “Good Ass Intro” and “Juice.” The mixtape comes just in time for Chance’s performance this summer at Lollapalooza in August.
