Season Wrap: Rutgers

Rounding out the bottom four teams of the 2013 season brings us to the Rutgers Scarlett Knights. Rut 1

The Knights have traditionally had a solid basketball programs that end up in the upper middle of the pack come seasons end. They have one of the loudest arenas in the Big East, an NFL star alum, and one of the cooler mascots in the game. Unfortunately for Rutgers nation, all three of those factors couldn’t help the Knights this season.

Rutgers finished 15-16 on the season while going a dismal 5-13 in the Big East conference.

Before losing 11 of their last 12 games, the Scarlett Knights won 10 of their first 11…thats a positive, right?

Truthfully, there were no positives on the Knights season as their clock struck midnight after Notre Dame embarrassed them in the second round of the Big East tournament.
