The Chicago Bulls finally got a hard earned victory against the Utah Jazz Friday night at the United Center with a score of 97-73.
Luol Deng led the Bulls coming one assist shy of a triple-double. Deng had 19 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists. He also had 5 steals as well to go with those numbers.
The Bulls jumped out early in the first quarter making a double-digit lead which only grew greater.
The score might seem like they dominated the game, but there are still some issues with the teams turnovers. The Bulls had 20 turnovers which would of been a bigger issue if the team wasn’t horrible like the Jazz are.
The Jazz are projected to be in the lottery this upcoming NBA Draft next June. Some might say they are tanking to get a top 5 pick considering the draft class is projected to be deep with talent.
What we’ve learned with the Bulls so far this season is they have to keep the turnovers low if they want a chance to win. That’s true for every team, but extremely important if the Bulls want to contend with the best in the Eastern Conference.
Their next game comes Monday at home against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Derrick Rose and Kyrie Irving finally get to face off against each other.
