Well I know this is old news now that I’m just now posting this, but if you didn’t know you might want to stop hiding under a rock. Derrick Rose tore his meniscus this past weekend in a road game at Portland against the Trailblazers.
Days later, the Bulls Public Relations staff announced he was out for the season after his successful surgery.
This not only hurts the Bulls chances at possibly making the playoffs, but it now you wonder what the Bulls are going to do in the future going forward. As one of the most popular players in the league, due to jersey sales, this hurts the NBA.
If there is any good news, at least it was not the knee that he tore his ACL on. He could come back next season and either be the same player we have seen in the past or he could be a complete different player.
You have to feel for Rose considering the amount of rehab he has done over the last two years.
