Laura Ling: remember the courage

So as it is nearing the end of my final fall semester, I was reminded today of all the brave journalists that have come before me.  Today I turned in a paper for my ethics class on Laura Ling an her capture in North Korea. Reading her memoir, I was reminded just how much some do for their craft, including eating interview notes to protect sources. I realized not that many people remember her story or that it even happened in the first place. So I’d like to take the opportunity to share a few New York Times articles that tell her story and what she is doing now.
