The Knicks up and downs continue

Knicks and NuggetsThe Knicks split their two games over the weekend against the Denver Nuggets and Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Knicks slaughtered the Nuggets at Madison Square Garden on Friday 117-90.

Six Knicks’ players scored in double figures including Carmelo Anthony who walked away with 31 points.

The Nuggets’ Ty Lawson led them with 24 points, while former Knickerbocker, Wilson Chandler scored 17.

New York then headed to Oklahoma City in which they lost 112-100.

The Thunders Kevin Durant scored 41 points on 55 percent shooting.

The Knicks had another total team effort in the loss with six players once again scoring in double figures. Carmelo led the way but only scored 15 points.

There are rumors resurfacing that Knicks’ head coach Mike Woodson will be let go any day now with the Knicks dismal record.

New York will play their last game before the All Star break on Wednesday as they welcome the Sacramento Kings into town.
