The losses keep adding up for the Knicks

Dirk NowitzkiThe Knicks just cannot stop the bleeding losing now eight straight games.

The Dallas Mavericks’ Dirk Nowitzki scored 16 points with the most important being a buzzer over the Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony for a 110-108 victory.

The Mavericks’ Vince Carter, Monta Ellis and Jose Calderon all scored at least points on Monday night.

Anthony scored 44 with J.R. Smith adding 15 points.

Thursday night in Miami the Heat won 108-82.

The Heats’ Lebron James and Dwayne Wade scored 31 and 23 points piece. Norris Cole, Mario Chalmers and Ray Allen all scored 11 points as well.

Anthony shot 55 percent scoring 29 points. Tyson Chandler scored 19 points to go along with 16 rebounds.

The Knicks’ bought out Metta World Peace and Beno Udrih’s contracts Monday. The Knicks replaced them by signing Shannon Brown and Earl Clark 10-day contracts.

The Knicks are now 21-37 on the season. They will head back to New York to face the Golden State Warriors tomorrow night, then traveling to Chicago to face the Bulls on Sunday.
