Three straight wins for Knicks

Carmelo Anthony & Amare StoudemireThe Knicks take dominate the Jazz and Cavaliers over the weekend.

Friday evening the Knicks blew out the Utah Jazz in Madison Square Garden 108-81. The Knicks’ Carmelo Anthony recorded 29 points, 4 rebounds and 8 assists. J.R. Smith also scored 17 points on the night.

The Jazz had three players score in double figures. Gordon Heyward and Alec Burks led the Jazz with 18 points each. Richard Jefferson scored 12 points to help out.

The Cleveland Cavaliers hosted the Knicks the following night and lost 107-97. Five players scored in double figures for the Knicks.

Anthony and Smith led the Knicks in scoring with 26 and 17 points. Both Tyson Chandler and Amare Stoudemire also recorded double digits in points and rebounds.

Kyrie Irving scored 30 points, recorded 8 assists and 8 boards. Spencer Hawes had 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the loss.

Next up for the Knicks this week will be to host the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday, then head to Boston to play the Celtics Wednesday.
