Thompson Square, husband and wife Keifer and Shawna Thompson, will stop in Charleston as part of their 2014 Just Feels Good Tour, which kicked off in Jackson, Calif. on Feb. 6.
Each year, University Board sends out a survey to a random sample of Eastern students asking them what kind of acts they would like to see as the spring concert. Combining those results with artist availability and budget, they choose which acts would be the best match.
Keifer, who is originally from Miami, Okla. and Shawna, from Chatom, Al., met at a singing competition when they moved to Nashville around the same time and have been singing together ever since.
Just Feels Good is the second album from the duo, released on March 25, 2013. This album includes 13 tracks, five of which were co-written by Keifer and Shawna. Their hit single “If I Didn’t Have You” is currently climbing the country music charts.
Tickets for this show go on sale to Eastern students March 24th and will be available to the general public March 31st. The cost is $20 for students and $23 for the general public. The show begins at 8 p.m. and the doors will open at 7 p.m.
