The New York Knicks suffered an embarrassing 127-96 loss in Los Angeles last week.
The L.A. Lakers scored 51 points in just the third quarter against New York. There were 5 Lakers that scored in double figures on March 25. Xavier Henry and Nick Young led the team with 22 and 20 points apiece.
Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 29 points and 9 rebounds. Tim Hardaway Jr. and Amare Stoudemire chipped in with 17 and 16 points each.
New York got back on track the next night defeating the Kings 107-99 in Sacramento.
Anthony led the way with 36 points and 5 rebounds. J.R. Smith helped immensely tallying 29 points, 4 rebounds and 4 dimes.
The Kings’ Demarcus Cousins almost had a triple-double with 32 points, 15 rebounds and 8 rebounds on the night. Travis Outlaw tried to help scoring 15 points.
