Mirrors in photography can be a great prop to create reflections. These reflections create an interesting affect for the viewer. While photographing with mirrors, try to avoid using flash. The flash can bounce off of the mirror’s surface and become a distraction to the subject of the picture. Also, be aware of what’s actually being reflected because sometimes it can be unflattering and distracting in the photograph. All photos by Gina Volk.
