Just a few tips:
A lot of personal trainers, athletes, and runners like to feel “fueled up” when they begin their workouts. I usually go early in the morning so it’s hard for me to eat or drink something before my workout. If you think you’re only going to workout for 45 ish minutes, then having a preworkout drink is unnecessary because you’re just filling your body up with carbs that you probably won’t burn.
It is good, however, to have a good healthy meal before you try to go for a run or do an intense workout. Your body won’t feel replenished if it’s empty. If you do eat before, make sure you give your body time before going hard at the gym.
