The Illinois State Fair usually welcomes several country acts to its Grandstand every August, and this year is no exception. Hunter Hayes, Jake Owen, and Florida Georgia Line will all headline shows at this years fair.
Country rapper Colt Ford will open for duo Florida Georgia Line on Sunday August 10. Florida Georgia Line is best known for songs like “Cruise,” on which they recently collaborated with rapper Nelly. Other popular hits include “This is How We Roll,” which features country superstar Luke Bryan, “Round Here,” and “Get Your Shine On.”
Up and coming country duo Dan + Shay along with Sam Hunt will set the stage for Hunter Hayes’ performance on Wednesday, August 13. Dan + Shay released their first studio album, Where it All Began, April 1, and Hayes released his second project, Storyline, May 6.
Hunter Hayes, a 22-year-old from Louisiana, produced his first album, Hunter Hayes, almost single-handedly, writing the songs and playing all 30 instruments featured on the album himself. This latest record features hits like Invisible, Storyline, and Wild Card.
The Cadillac III along with the group Parmalee will open for Jake Owen on Saturday August 16. Jake Owen is known for songs like his latest hit, Beachin’ along with tracks like Barefoot Bluejean Night, The One That Got Away, and Anywhere With You.
