Multi-million selling country music recording artist Martina McBride will take the stage of the Effingham Performance Center Friday, May 9 at 8p.m.
Effingham is just one stop on McBride’s Everlasting Tour, to coincide with the release of her latest project, Everlasting. This is McBride’s first independent project on her label, Vinyl Recording. This record pays tribute to classic songs of the 1950s and 60s while preserving the recording process from that time.
“Everlasting” made history when it debuted at No.1 on the Top Country Album chart after its release, making McBride the first solo female artist to do so with an independently released and distributed album.
McBride has been awarded many prestigious honors, including 14 Grammy Award nominations, Top Female Vocalists at the Academy of Country Music Awards, and CMA Vocalist of the year four times. She has 14 Gold Records, nine platinum, three double platinum and has sold over 18 million units of music.
